If you signed up to this list, you are probably interested in making more money in one way or another.
You might be looking for “secrets”, “mindset hacks”, and “actionable insights” to help speed up your journey towards financial freedom, security, and success.
Or you might just be interested in learning exactly how I went from zero to “self made” multi-millionaire by the age of 30 (without any handouts).
Regardless of the reason you’re here – you’ll find all of the above and more in this series.
We’re going to talk about starting businesses, growing them, investing that money for freedom and security, and so much more…
With respect to your attention span - everything will be made as brief and clear as possible:
Posts will be short, to the point, highly opinionated, actionable, and bullshit free — rooted in reality and experience.
Now, allow me to introduce myself and explain why I’m doing this, and what you can expect.
Marketers call this “establishing credibility” and it’s important that you understand:
I am not an influencer or “content creator” who makes his money teaching other people how to make money (I believe the word for this is “grifting”)
I’ve been an entrepreneur for the entirety of my adult life, and am now comfortable as a full-time real estate investor, as I transition into my next thing…
Here are a few of the things I’ve done in the past decade:
I’ve been involved in nearly a dozen ventures in a multitude of roles – from tech startups, to coaching businesses, to personal development seminars, marketing agencies, health supplement brands, and everything in-between.
Most failed - but came with valuable lessons (which I’ll be sharing here).
As a direct response marketing consultant, my campaigns and strategies have been directly attributed with over $10,000,000 in sales for my very small roster of clients.
Most recently - I built, scaled, and exited an eCommerce brand for what can be considered “life changing money”
I took those winnings and became a partner in a boutique real estate private equity firm – which now allows me the luxury of spending my time writing without feeling the need to corrupt my art with the profit motive.
It sounds rosy - but in reality – my relationships, emotional, and mental health suffered tremendously as I was ruthlessly obsessed with “making it at all costs” - more on that later (and what I would do differently).
I share all of this, not to brag, but to demonstrate that I’ve been around for a while, and I know what I’m talking about (some of the time, at least).
My intention here is to inspire, empower, enlighten, and entertain.
And of course, there are a few selfish reasons why I’m doing this:
I want to help entrepreneurs. It brings me great fulfillment to help people improve their lives, businesses, and communities.
My ego demands respect and recognition after spending many years lurking “behind the scenes”
I require an outlet for my creativity and intelligence (it turns out that “retiring early” is a great way to become dull, depressed, and nihilistic)
You should also be aware that this series will most likely be turned into a short book, and I will go on a promotional speaking tour to amplify the message with the intention of reaching and helping more people.
So, welcome to the series - the first post will arrive in the next few days.
I appreciate you reading this, and look forward to interacting through the coming weeks and months.
To get the most out of this (and to support me) – I recommend responding to these posts with any thoughts, questions, or feedback.
Not only will you have direct access to me (during this period of writing) —- your engagement helps me clarify my message and improve the writing.
In a previous life I would charge $500 for an hour of consulting — and for the entirety of this series, you will have direct access to me, for free.
So feel free to respond anytime with anything you might need help with - I’ll be sure to respond, either privately in an email, or publicly, in a post.
Alon
Good article Alon. I can relate to you and this on many levels. It took lots of traveling, failed businesses, personal growth, good and bad learning lessons, to all lead my onto the current path I’ve worked hard at. In the least 7 years I went from living in a mud hut without hot water volunteering as a teacher in Ethiopia to now owning 14 homes in Las Vegas that have combined value of over $22 million. Life is a trip. It’s something I don’t speak publicly about but you’ve known me since the beginning in my 6 pack in the club partying days, so you can appreciate the work in what’s it’s taken to get on top that mountain. We’ve both taken long journeys to personal development, growth, world travels, failed businesses and eventually success. Albeit different paths, they’ve led to similar destinations (if there even is a such a thing). But indeed there was a common principle of taking consistent, recurring action and figuring things out was you grow. I hole heartedly agree that once you build the muscle to make quick decisive actions it’s a game changer. Many years I lost lingering in contemplation trying to perfect each move in the game in life but that’s not how this game works.
